A little change of scenery

I started blogging a little over a year ago.  When I first started thinking about blogging, I started doing some research.  I didn't really know anything about it, other than I enjoyed reading some.

In my research, most people said that wordpress.org.  They liked the idea of having ownership of their own stuff.  While it was nice in theory, I am still SUCH an amateur.  Even a year late, I don't have the expertise or time to really dive in to everything that wordpress has to offer.  When it comes down to it, I just want to sit down and write what I am feeling.  I want to tell funny stories about my dogs or vent about how ridiculous work can be or get excited over wedding planning.  I have the moments, as any blogger does, about how I am not funny enough or not well dressed enough, or my pictures look crappy, or I am not insightful enough.  When it comes down to it, I just want to write.  I feel like I am at such an amazing place in my life I want to record it.  I want to have an outlet.  I want to look back at the blog and say "I can't believe I was so stressed about that, how silly" or "look at how small my dogs were" or "I am so glad I decided to do that."  I also love to comment on people's blogs and that was a pain with Wordpress.  I also don't have the money right now, wedding expenses add up freakin quick!

For you first time readers, here is a little snip it into my life.

I am a 26 year old ex-teacher turned sales woman who has two dogs and an amazing Fiance from upstate New York.  I travel a lot for work (no where all that exciting) and get to have my incredible Father as my boss.  He is my real life Dr. Phil.  I am the oldest of 7 children, 4 by blood and 2 step siblings.

I have recently started crossfit, which has been amazing, but I also love to eat and drink.  While I have an awesome group of girlfriends that I love to gallivant around with and be winos with, my perfect night is getting take out and watching a movie and having a few drinks with Ryan and my pups.

Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you again soon!
